Many brands are turning to lightweighting their PET bottles to achieve productivity and sustainability goals. But what are the consequences for quality? Standardizing on PET bottle dimensions and sizes will support productivity, but what is the impact on marketing, and eventually, the consumer? Sally will explore how brands can reconcile these significant, yet seemingly opposing, objectives on a global scale.
Speaker bio: Sally has worked for The Coca-Cola Company for the past 26 years, spending 16 years in Packaging Innovation and Development. She has developed recycling technologies, refillable plastic bottles, and proprietary shaped plastic bottles and most recently has worked in Global Quality responsible for packaging policies, package performance standards and global specification management.
